Q. What is Reiki and who can do it?
Anyone who is attuned to Usui Reiki can do Reiki. Reiki is essentially a healing art and technique from Japan, developed by Mikao Usui in the early 20th Century. Reiki attunement, and learning the healing skills, is developed in three stages through Reiki 1, Reiki 2 and Reiki Master courses from a qualified Usui Reiki Master / Teacher, completed in sequence. Usui Reiki 1 qualifies the student to do healing for themselves, family and friends.
Q. Who teaches the Reiki courses and what is a 'Reiki Practitioner'?
Only a Usui Reiki Master can teach Usui Reiki. Each Usui Reiki Master can trace their lineage back to the founding Master, Mikao Usui. Mikao was therefore the first Reiki Master and teacher of this spiritual / healing technique. Once Usui Reiki 1 then Reiki 2 is completed, you can become a 'Reiki Practitioner', who can then work as a paid professional healing others.
Q. How long does each Reiki course last?
Our Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 courses each take two days. Reiki 2 cannot be started until Reiki 1 has been completed. It is recommended to practice Reiki for at least 4 weeks after completing Reiki 1 before learning Reiki 2. The Reiki Master course, always taken after Reiki 2, is around five days, requiring a more serious commitment, including an extended period of practice as a 'Reiki Practioner' before progressing, usually no less than several months afterwards. We only offer our Usui Reiki Master course by invitation, and only after additional training in 5th Dimension spiritual knowledge.
Q. Where are the courses held?
Our courses are held at a spiritual retreat in Lancashire, United Kingdom, near to the sea and the latest RSPB nature reserve. To protect the location, the exact site is reserved for those who book the courses.
Q. What happens if I need to cancel?
We run Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 courses regularly throughout the year. Once you have paid, and if you need to cancel, we will offer alternative dates that may work better for you. If you need to cancel again, we will do the same again until you complete your course.
